[Review] Eyelash Glue

I had a big crush on false lashes a few months ago and if you've read my blog or follow my tweets, u should know false lashes are my life now :P Its hard for me to go out without false lashes, I can go without eyeshadow, lipstick, gloss, but i would love to have my lashes on and i could stare at myself in the mirror for ages!

I shall talk more about lashes on the next post. I wanna share out my 2 favourite lash glue which i have been using for long now.

• DUO eyelash adhesive
• Dollywink eyelash glue

Both of them are my favourite now and i use them differently.

DUO eyelash adhesive

They can be bought easily in any Watsons in SG now and they are quite popular. It comes in a tube form, white glue with turn clear when dries up. They hold the lashes for long and are very sticky. I feel that its hard for me to remove the residue on the lash bone after using. I feel that its best used if you are going for some outdoor activities and afraid of your lashes coming off halfway (i had a very embarrassing experience..)

Pros
- Long lasting, Hold the lashes for long hours.
- tube form, would not waste any glue
- no worries of lashes coming off! (from my experience)

Cons
- Leave too much residue to clean up on lash bone
- hard to control. i tend to squeeze too much glue out.

Dollywink Eyelash Glue

I got this during my trip to Msia and this was the last one on display. The one im using is hitting pan soon and i got a backup from sasa :)I use this glue almost everyday and i really like it! It doesn't leave those ugly residue like the DUO eyelash glue and the residue is easy to remove. It enables me to reuse the pair of lashes 23847832 times till it gone out of shape. The only thing that i dont really like is that it doesn't really hold well. I have experience it coming off fast and if the lashes are new, and the lash bone is hard, its so hard to put on those lashes with this glue.

Pros
- Love it for everyday wear
- My lashes last longer (more reuses)
- Can hold it for a day
- the dollywink glue brush is easy to apply on the lash bone

Cons
- Cannot hold very well if you are outdoors
- May not finish it completely as it cannot be squeezed (i bet there are still alot left inside)

I have the dollywink glue in my everyday makeup bag and the DUO at home. Both of them are my HG eyelash glue. How about yours?

Dollywink Eyeliner vs KPalette Eyeliner

I have been away from this blog for quite some time due to some personal problems and many commitments recently and i'm feeling really tired! I really miss the blogging world and of cause, the blogging babes too! :D

Currently i have 2 "almost similar" eyeliner which are dollywink and K-Palette and here is more information about them :)

Packaging

Dollywink design is definitely more kawaii(cute) and prettier than the normal black packaging for K-Palette

Price

Dollywink is priced at around SGD$25 and K-Palette is at about SGD19. K-Palette is cheaper!

Size

In terms of pen size, they are about the same.

Application

Dollywink seems to be more define that kpalette and Kpalette looks thicker. Picture on top is 2 application of liner and 1 application on the right.


KPalette

KPalette seems to have a "spring" cap which seems unique! :D

Removal

I applied both eyeliners on my arm and ran a cotton pad filled with remover over it. KPalette seems hard to remove where dollywink can be removed easily.

Etude Nude Lipstick BR301

I always love nude lipstick and this etude house lipstick is really very pretty. Its in brown tone which matches my lips perfectly. I use it when i do not want to have any color on my lips. There is no shimmer, therefore, i will add a bit of lip gloss on my lips to make it shine.


The packaging is very princessy. Something more elegant than their normal pink packaging :)

Dollywink Liquid Eyeliner

This liquid eyeliner is going up on my HG list! its so easy to apply on with the brush. It doesn't smudge and it stays long :)

I bought this during Watsons 20% sale and i really love it. The con would be that its not very pigmented. But its very shimmery. I like to use it as my daily simple look. Colors are very soft, not too bright.

Hauls from the Weekend

Went for a huge shopping with baby on friday! So happy that day but baby was showing his "pissed off" face almost the whole time till dinner. I got used to it already, so its okay. I need more shopping girlfriends! :D


I went over to Orchard and make my first stop at Ion Sephora to get my viva glam after the online site rejected my order and i'm lazy to go through concierge!

Both Viva Glam Cyndi and Gaga are available!

Sephora SA is cutee! I think i'm one of the first few to get, and the cashier was like, " Its gaga's signature! Let's go over to MAC counter and see later!" LOL.


I wanted to get Alice in Wonderland OPI from sephora too, but its sold out! Major disappointment!

Next i went over to Watsons to get some Dollywink!

Its almost sold out, only able to grab a few!

Dollywink Bottom Lash in No. 6 & Dollywink Pencil Liner in Black..

I wanted a lash case and liquid liner too. Maybe i will source online instead.

I get a Nudy Gloss in No.2 from Canmake and a pink blush since there is a 20% off! :)


Next up went to Kino to get some mag and a book! Am gonna read read read this week liaos! :)

Im always a sucker for cute packaging and this really catches my eyes!

Falsies! in upper and lower lashes! I haven really tried a lower lash falsies before therefore its very interesting.

Their signature logo should be the black bow! with polka pink background! how not to love?

Tsubasa is pretty! I bet she appears in mag too much till its recognisable! i bought many japanese magazines recently and i can already recognise her! I'm bad at recognising people :P
