I received my first oct Bellabox a few weeks ago. It is like pink box and it has just started in oct. I was expecting more but these are great high end items too :) 9

It Arrived in a very pretty pink box, all packed nicely like a gift. There are 3 ribbon like hair tie, opi hand cream, 2 hair stuffs and a mini perfume. There are more brands arriving for nov version and I can't wait to receive them. Have you tried these items before?

I'm addicted to bubble face wash recently. they are much more gentle than the cream types and they really clean my face well. It is really foamy and light and my skin did not feel tight after using.

i grabbed this Johnsons body care lasting moisture hand cream in watsons and it has been following me around in my bag. the cream is not oily nor sticky. it has a very nice fragrance too.

This hand cream contains shea butter, vitamine E derivatives and jojoba oil, nourishes your hand, avoids dryness and dullness with long lasting performance.

I have been wanting this item since i read this review on Lotuspalace blog and it wasn't available in Singapore. I have been attracted to foaming cleansers recently, from Airy Whip and Dove Oil foam cleansing. I feel that foam cleansing is quite gentle and it does not dry my skin.

It contains Collagen which helps to moisturize the skin and with the ultra fine foam, it can be spread easily. Instead of having to larther the paste into foam, it comes with a foam dispenser for instant foam. with 150ml, it can create up to 120 pumps. (it can last me more than a month!). The ultra fine foam is made up of bubbles that are smaller than pores which allows you to clean better and deeper. Furthermore, i'm attracted to the light floral scent in it.

My turn to test. I don't want to waste that much, therefore i only dispense once.

Fluffy foam! One to two presses should be enough to wash my face!

It is not falling! I am Amazed!
Next, i tried to squeeze the foam! It's so dense!

This is how dense the cleansing foam is. I have tried it for the past week, it leaves my face clean and not drying! Would definitely reccomend it to those who are foam cleansers lovers!

I had this blush over a year ago, it was lying somewhere in my drawer and i happen to see it over the last weekend and falling in love with it again :D

It is like a peachy tone with shimmer and it makes my cheeks glow which i love it a lot! :) It looks like Sleek Rose Gold, but this has a peachy tone.

*I wanted to separate the posts but i'm lazy to write another. sorry for this long post m(_ _)m *

Oily skin, Acnes are all so common in our sunny island and we are never acne-free (maybe for me). To say the truth, i don't have 1 skincare regime, I rotate all the stuffs i have, therefore, i have too many unfinished skincare products and here is another set to add on.

I started to use this set of Mentholatum Acnes facial wash and facial gel when i have some breakouts last week. Might be due to stress or maybe some makeup which i'm still not sure yet.

Acnes Creamy Face Wash

"Removes Excess sebum and keeps your skin soft & moist. mild and non-irritating creamy wash for daily use to effectively prevent pimples.

My Review
I kind of like this creamy wash as i love the feeling of touching my face after using it. My skin feel soft and refreshed. It foams well and easy to clean off. I try to avoid to use it too often as i find it quite harsh for my combi-dry skin. My skin get oily only when i'm outside. and I don't like the scent of this facial wash though.

Sealing Gel

This is a off-white gel which helps to treat acnes. It feels sticky when first applied but get better after a while. Instead of using on the whole face, i use it on my areas where there are pimples and it works. Similar to the creamy wash, i don't really like the scent.

Overall, I think that it is a bit strong/harsh on my face but does well on oily skin. I would definitely prefer the sealing gel as it works for my pimples. If you would like to try, thesamplestore is giving away the free acnes samples. You may view below for the link.

I learn this term "Fuwa Fuwa" from Yumeiro Patissiere which i was watching last month. It means Fluffy (seen from the subs of the anime, please correct me if i'm wrong) and i got so excited when there is a fuwarie collection coming out. Fluffy hair! :D

I use small amount and crunch my hair to make it more curly!

I'm happy with the end results! (*°∀°)=3 and it make me realize that i need a hair cut and color/treatment. My hair is getting worse! (ーー;)

Bought this at Changi DFS after wanting a Guerlain makeup item for a long long time. I wanted the Blush G Serie Noire but it was out of stock.

It brings out a very pretty natural shine when i wear it. I'm being bought over :)

I was busy during the dates that they were launched and i missed out the bb beige *.* In the end, i bought 3 bottles when i was on my family trip to Korea. Bought 1 in Beige for my mummy and one bb beige & beige for myself. I didn't get to buy the bb beige in SG but thankfully, they are available in korea

Shopping and Hauls

I'm leaving a small post here to show that i'm still around after being hiatus for so long :)

I miss blogging and you guys! <3

I have been busy this whole time and being tired ever since my granny entered the hospital. It's a strain for my whole family visiting the hospital now and then and of cause, with the strict limitation in the hospital which i don't want to think about it.

I did some shopping over last weekend, small but expensive. The bf bought me a new Samantha Thavasa wallet and a card case (for my door card, ezlink). I like to hang it on my neck as i can lose my cards like a few times in a year if i put them in my bag. T.T

and we were the first few shoppers of the day to spend over a certain amount of money (we were shopping in the morning), we get to go up IonSky for free ;)

We took a special lift up to the 55th floor in Ion and since it was a morning, there wasn't much people :)

GEO Princess Mimi Chocolate Brown

I have been wearing too many color lens recently and i decide to try back brown color which i loved lots before. I decided to get Princess Mimi in Chocolate brown instead of gray :)

I had a lot of problem putting on this pair for the first try as it hurts my eyes really badly and i decided to take out after about five minutes. I actually thought it is a faulty pair of lens and decide to soak it again for 2 whole days before trying it back on. I was thinking if it fails, i'm gonna give up on it, but luckily, it was alright! :)

It wasn't really comfortable wearing this at first but it was alright as it goes on. I find that i can only wear this for not more than 10 hours and i can feel my eyes getting dry. I try to avoid wearing when i'm going out late. But it is really pretty. The enlargement factor is there and it is not obvious, feels very natural.

I love the design of the lens, It's very different from the usual tri tone which i always wear.

It's been a long time since i place an order from gmarket. At least 5 months? and once i came back from Korea, i couldnt resist place an order!

My review

On packaging

I always prefer a tube like packaging for BB cream as it is easier to bring around and less wastage of BB cream. Ginvera BB cream has a small size of 25ml in a small tube packaging which allows me to bring for travels easily with its small size.

On BB cream

The bb cream is very watery and light weight and can be applied on easily. I had a few trouble applying it for the first time as it is very watery and i accidentally squeezed too much out. (^^)"
It contains SPF 30 PA++ which allows me to skip applying the sunblock step. The formula is not sticky and contains a very nice fragrance (i think it is green tea?). If you can't stand fragrance in your makeup items, better not try, but i really like it.

The tone of the bb cream is more of nude tone, and it only comes in a shade.

My review
My first try on the drugstore whitening cream and it surpasses my expectations :) It is very light-weight, no sticky residue left on my face and very moisturizing. I'm still not very sure about the whitening though. It has the same fragrance as the bb cream which is my favourite right now.

My skin felt moisturized and fortunately it does not leave a white patch of moisturizer like most others do. It sinks in my skin easily. I'm currently using this day and night and it did not disappoint me.

The only concern i have was the SPF. It would be better if it contains SPF.

I would give this a 4/5 :D

Holika Holika Lipsticks

I bought some Holika Holika lippies when i went for my trip previously to Korea. I did not take a final haul photo as i only remembered when i packed half of them in T.T. Therefore, i shall do a review of them seperately in here.

I was attracted by their packaging and the colors they have were pretty too!

I got a total of 3 colors.

Although they look vibrant, the colors are quite sheer on my lips and created a soft tint of lip color. Really love them!

NYX Runway Collection Palette Smokey Eyes

This is a very handy palette for smokey eyes and it reminds me of Sleek palette Storm (Storm has more different shades of color). the pigments for this palette is not as good as sleek palettes, but for the price, it is quite worth it.

If you are looking for different tones of blacks and greys, this palette is worth the try.

Kameria BB cream

This would be something strange for all as me myself didn't hear of this brand at first too. I found it hanging in a corner in watsons and i grab it because of it's ultra CUTE packaging :P

Kameria Baby face BB cream

It comes in 2 packaging, Pink for hydrating and blue for whitening. I picked the pink one to try.

It look like it has bits of water drops and dissolves when blended completely. It comes with SPF30 PA++ which allows me to skip my sunblock :p

My thoughts

Overall, this is a good BB cream to try. It comes with SPF 30, no unbearable scent and it is not sticky! Coverage is good without it being too thick. It only comes in one tone which is quite light, i prefer BB creams to come in different tones to suit everyone.

I grabbed these when they are on discount previously and they are one of my favourite eyeliners now!

It comes in black and brown and i grabbed both since i heard many raves about it.

I did some test to try if it's waterproof and smudgeproof.

running it under the tap. It still look perfect!

1 swipe with eye makeup remover. comes out easily!

My thoughts

This is really my HG pencil eyeliner. it stays well and doesn't smudge. Try it if you need a pencil liner!

They have been out in SG for quite some time and i really love the packaging! I grab all 3 that were available in my local Watsons.

My thoughts

Quality: The blushes wasn't really pigmented and i have to apply a few times to see the color when using blush brush. I love the stronger color when i apply with my fingers.

Packaging: comes in really cute macarons tins. Love the puff with the mini ribbon.

Love it?: I love it when i'm doing some light makeup when i don't need a strong blusher.

I got this during a Watsons Sale as they are at 50% off which bring them to less than $10 each. It was a very good deal and i decide to get my first MM Rouge Majex.

I was attracted by their gold cap and sleek packaging and the colors available were gorgeous. I decided to get the orange tone as i find that the others are quite light but provides insane amount of glitters.

This is a very nice orange tone which i got. The color may look very strong but it is very light when applied.

A peachy Orange tone with loads of glitters!

One of my favourite purchase in Watsons!

Sleek Palette: Good Girl

Sleek Good Girl Palette

This is a all PINK palette from sleek which i gotten it start of this year. I was thinking if i should get this and i still gave in and i got this as my mini blush palette instead! <3

I don't really use pink eyeshadows, maybe only once or twice they they make my eyes look swollen :( but, this palette is very useful as a blush palette.

It comes with different tones, from light pale pink, hot pink, orangey red and deep red, a vast range for blushers. The colors are pigmented like other Sleek palettes and easy to apply. I try to apply lightly as the colors appear too harsh sometimes.

I would reccomend this palette if u do not mind the size (the pan size is very small for my blush brush) and would like to try out different tones for blush

I have been wanting to try out the diorsnow range but i don't really know which to start off with. If any of you tried any of Diorsnow range, reccomend me which items to look out for! <3

Actually i got a Diorsnow Base UV when i went to Thailand last year in the DFS (i'm always like a happy girl shopping in DFS, and the bf is the grumpy old man stopping me from buying too much :P)

I was considering between this and the other SPF50 and since it's my first venture, i got the first :)

The ultimate touch of radiance, this lightweight, unifying, subtly tinted makeup base instantly enhances luminosity while improving makeup wear and maintaining hydration. Exist in 2 shades: “Beige” to conceal redness, or “Mauve” to correct dullness for a fresh, luminous glow. Shake well before use. Apply every morning before makeup and/or as touch-ups over foundation for ultimate protection and perfection.

I bought mine in Mauve as i love the fresh, luminous glow properties. It is really runny/watery which is easy to blend. I only apply a little as i feel that when i apply too much, my face look really white. The texture is a little sticky too. I did not notice any whitening when i use it for awhile.

the purplish glow is quite obvious if you apply too much.

I might not repurchase this as i would want to try other makeup base.

Any reccomendations?

The Body Shop Limited Collection For Eyes 02 A La Mode

Hello everyone! I'm back to blogging! Busy period is finally gone and finally i have some breathing space! <3

I got this palette after hearing a few nice reviews and me myself really love the body shop eye shadows :)

It comes with 4 colors, an eyeshadow brush and a pencil eyeliner which is quite worth it. I don't really like the pencil eyeliner but i do love the brush. They are famous for being very soft! :)

This eye palette features three pearlescent shades in silver, white and pink, and a matte black. It includes a mini Eye Definer in 01 Black and features collectable packaging designed by London College of Fashion.

The black is not so pigmenthed but the others are alright. Love silver the most :)

The pencil eyeliner is so-so..

Overall, this is a nice palette to keep but if you don't really like shimmers, or love a strong black eyeshadow, maybe you would not like this.

Luxor is very light and suitable to use as an highlighter

Malibu is quite dark therefore i use it to for contouring

and Orgasm is a very pretty coral blush color.

It seems like a great deal for all 3 in 1 :) I might consider getting the original size once these are used up! :)

I was very busy for the past week and this week and the stress was getting up to me, and i guess that's what happen with my makeup.

This is a limited edition palette from Sleek :)

It comes with lots of dark colors filled with sparkles so if you like sparkles, you should definitely get this palette.

The size is the same as other palettes, very pigmented and easy to use.

I love the blues and purple in this palette. They are really pretty and cranberry is really bright!

Instead of white, they have silver which is think is very classy! see the sparkles! wow!

Definitely not for those who loves nude/natural colors as the colors in this palette are very strong and bright.

I only did 1 EOTD with this palette and i will try to do more up later :)

It comes in a small mousse container (it look the same like hair mousse) but in a smaller version. This is like a light-weight BB cream with soy scent and does minimal coverage. It comes with SPF 25 PA++ and it moisturizes my face. It's light-weight, dries up quicky and doesn't really need too much blending.

Unfortunately, it does not conceal really well, it is very light weight and too "thin" to cover. The tone for this bb cream is quite light too. Not suitable for darker skin.

I might repurchase this when i do not have much to conceal on my face :p

This is one of my favourite as i love all bright colors. It's a royal blue color with blue sparkling particles inside. The color is very bright and unique :)

I try doinngEOTD with Goldilux and Royal Sugar and it comes out alright. I'm gonna try and play with other different combinations too :)

New Haircut and color

My New hair!

I have been avoiding salon for most of the year because they always cut my hair till super short, when i'm trying my best to grow them long (you should know my feeling if you have long hair), and no, your hair don't grow faster if you cut it. T.T

Just before the chinese new year, i met up with my friend to go Salon Vim to cut/color my hair :) My first time in a expensive looking salon located in Orchard. ^^" I enjoyed my time at the salon though :P

Upon reaching, i was served with many gossip magazines <3 and drink. and on to coloring hair!

My stylist is Sharon and this is her assistant helping me color my hair! :D

Did you have fun over the new year?

My new year was pretty sad as granny was in hospital and i'm going down on alternate days for visiting. Everytime i see the grannies in the hospital being so lonely and can't take home leave/discharge for the reunion dinner or the new year, it felt so sad! I even saw a granny teared cause of this. When i first went there, the six bed was full. When it was the new yr eve, it became only 2 people, one was my granny and the other was her. My granny was soo lucky! the doctor actually said that she couldn't take any leave but in the end, gave her 4 hrs off for reunion dinner! :) I hope she really get discharge soon!

I did a bit of visiting this CNY too :) My cousins are coming to my house in awhile! shall quickly drop a post now! :D

my Bare face T>T

With foundation on

My bare eyes!

For me, to have bright big eyes, lashes and circle lens is a must! if it's too troublesome, either one works fine too :D

1) With my green contacts on!

2) Define brows

3) Apply eyeshadow base

4) allow dark eyeshadows at the corner of your eyes (i used lunasol palette for this look)

4) Apply a lighter tone at the inner eye and use white/white pearl shadow to highlight brow bone. (i used NYX shadow in geisha for highlight)

5) This is how it look without liner and mascara

6) As i'm doing a neutral look, i use brown eyeliner (Urban Decay 24/7 liner) to line my bottom waterline.

7) I used Dollywink eyeliner to draw a thin line and apply my mascara to my top and bottom lashes (i used Bonjour Mascara)

8) apply your top lashes and you're done! you can apply bottom falsies too for more dolly effect.

A matte hot pink blush that seems scary at first look but blend it pretty on face. You can use it stronger or lighter depends on the occasion.

It's my first few venture into gold eyeshadow as i thought the color will be too strong for my eyes, but fortunately, they turn out alright!

The loose eyeshadows are really pigmented and easy to apply on. The colors are very strong and do not need to many applications

The eyeshadow size are really huge and it's pigmented. It's easy to play with the colors and doesn't need too many applications to make the colors strong.

i only use dollipop and afterparty on my eyelids. i mix both of them together to form purple at my outer corner of the eye :) Added a bit of Midori on my low lashes area. Tako is used to highlight:)

Magpie Loose Eyeshadow

This is the color from Sugarpill.net

I got attracted to this color once i saw it! <3

It is like a very dark blue color, with bright blue shimmers. When it's not bright enough, it seems like it's almost black. i had a hard time at first trying to use this eyeshadow as i don't want it to appear too dark for me, but it still does.

I'm a big lover of enchanted stuffs, fairies, princesses, and Too faced Fairy set really caught my eyes! I received the palette from a gift exchange and i get a Too Faced Glamour to go set too!

It is really small, u can see it comparing to my palm. but it's really handy for bring around and it's packed with awesome stuffs!

Tadaah! you get 8 eyeshadows, a lipgloss, blusher and bronzer. I can leave all my other eye shadow palette at home already!

I really like the color range, you get brown to do neutral eyes, highlight colors and black to do smokey eyes.

Not forgetting the pinky blusher. it's really pigmented and pretty!

Here are the swatches for the eyeshadows. the colors are not very strong comparing to the ones i always use, but they do well enough for me. I use it for some emergency makeup for myself or friends and they are enough :)

I bought this during their atrium sales at $12.90 (regular price at $40) :) which i find is a very good deal as it contains a peach blush and 4 neutrals eyeshadows. When i got it, there was only a few pcs left. It comes it a very classy black velvet case with a mirror inside. It look good enough for travel usage.

This bb cream reminds me of Skin79 pearl BB cream which has crystal like particles in the bb cream which make my face glow. It contains SPF27/PA++ which allows me to skip my sunblock. I love to apply this to highlight my face instead of on my whole face as i feel that it is too bright/ sparkly for me.
The bb cream tone is slightly lighter than my current skintone and is light-weight. It don't feel sticky and my face is not that oily.
Will i repurchase? : No. (i seldom use and i don't really fancy sparkles.)

I'm a sucker for pretty packaging and i really like this packaging in a pearl pink small handy tube!
Always Nuddy BB24 BB cream is great for youthful looking skin that requires sebum control, moisture supply, whitening and blemish coverage. It is an anti-irritant BB cream which can be suited well for sensitive skin. it has a pink undertone that gives me a slight glow on my face. Coverage is so-so and i like how light-weight it is. The bad thing is that it doesn't have any SPF :(
Will i repurchase? : yes! (i really like the tone of this on my face)

My Review

I like how this mask smell, not too strong. I left it on for about 20 minutes, and i feel my face turn smoother. Does all masks does that? :P No itchiness, reactions to this mask :) My skin do feel moisturized after mask but i didn't see my pores being tighten. It does relax my face from all the makeup i have been doing everyday :P Overall, i feel that this is a normal moisture mask.

My Review

Brightening Mask! My favourite. I tried this after work to pamper my face and my skin do feel brighter after mask. I'm not very sure about the increase blood circulation, but i think this will be obvious after several tries. My skin do feel moisturized and It lightens my pigmentations slightly. Overall, a nice mask!

My Review

I think that this is my favourite out of all 3. Since SG is sunny all year round, i afraid of pigmentations! This mask lightens pigmentations while whiten the skin (i get dark easily) and this make my skin supple. Skin do look a little brighter after mask and smoother. My face look refreshed after mask . Thumbs up for this mask :)

BB cream is for lazy people like me. :P *Just joking* But BB cream covers lots of steps that traditional makeup need. In traditional makeup, we have to apply the sunscreen, moisturizer, makeup base, foundation, concealer, etc. but in BB cream, it covers almost all the steps we need in applying the base makeup. Imagine the time saved using BB creams. Since using BB creams has skipped so many steps, it produces a very natural, "no makeup look". My Reviews

Thinking of 10 benefits in 1 tube sounds too good enough to be true, but it really did make my makeup application easier. I do feel that it brings out glow in my face without me highlighting and my face look brighter. My uneven tones are lighten and lines are not so obvious (i do not have lots of lines too :P) It comes with SPF25/PA++ and it allows me to save one the sunblock step when i'm not going into the sun. It claims to whiten, i'm still not very sure about it, I will try it longer to see the whitening effects.

Besides the goods, there are a few ~~bad~~/okok reviews. I feel that this is slightly thicker than the Multi-Effects BB cream, and i can't apply too much on face. The BB cream tone is very pale, so i assume it's for those with light skin. If i apply too much, i really do look like ghost. Although it has oil control, i do still have to blot almost at the end of the day. Other than these, overall, it's not bad!

I love how it make my skin flawless, especially my dark eye circles and uneven skin tones. My pores seems to be hidden too. I'm not very sure about whitening, will update soon after trying out for a longer period. I love the SPF25/PA++ in it, perfect for working enviornment :) The BB Cream do seems to have very light tone, and after application, i really look like a ghost! I applied MAC MSF powder on top and it comes out alright. I tried it for a week, no break outs, face do feel a little oily, have to blot in the middle of the day. Other than these, this BB cream is perfect for those who wanna start try out BB creams.

I wonder.. If i use longer, can i have awesome skin like her?

My Review
This is one of my favourite scrub in the morning. As i often put makeup at the day, i'm to lazy to add this step in, but i use this as my first step in the morning. Once i wake up, i will use this to massage my face, and it always make me happy when i see the small flakes come out. (Bye bye dead skin cells) Some flakes are different in color and it feels like the dirts are all coming out and i'm prep-ing my face for makeup later. After cleansing, i can feel that my face is much smoother and softer. I still can't see the whitening effect yet, but i like how it remove the dirt from my face.

My Review

My grandma always tell me jade is good for skin and i did wore it for awhile when i was younger. I really like the cooling effect the jade is and i think they are really good for skin. I was amazed at the Jade roller for the eyes (i love rollers more than creams now for eyes) as they are easy to apply and handy. I can see my panda trademark (dark circles) lighten up gradually and i don't look tired. No stickiness, greasiness (which i experienced from lots of eye creams) and my eyes did indeed look better.

Ettusais Blusher

My love for Ettusais blushers grown a lot recently, maybe when i first got them from the shiseido sales. :)

I bought an orange and pink blusher from the sales which i was attracted to on the first glance.

This reminds me of benefit Coralista which i like alot too :)

They are very pigmented and the colors appears natural on my cheeks :) I bought the refills at $8 at the sales. I think the original packaging cost about $20 or more at counters.

I went to the shiseido sales recently with my colleague and hauled some from there! The queue was very long which makes my lunch time even longer :( I nearly forgot to have lunch :P

I thought it will be bigger from picture but actually its a small palette. I did swatches of them below :)

I find that sleek palettes are pigmented and the colors goes on my skin easily. they have a vast range of palettes in their websites and all are pretty! I got myself the storm palette too which i will swatch it the next time :)

My palette look old/dirty as i put in my makeup case and bring it around when i went for assignements :P didn't have a chance to clean it thoroughly

My Reviews
I love the bottle design, how sleek it is and it will not leak when i bring for travel (i always have this problem). It is a clear gel and turn foamy when i lather. I don't recommend it to remove make up but as a gentle everyday cleanser, it works fine :) No breakouts nor irritation up till now after using.

This mild daily scrub comes with Lactic acid beads for gentle, effective deep cleansing that removes blackheads and refines pores.

My Review
This scrub is gently enough for daily use that means, u can scrub everyday! i'm always afraid of over-scrubing my face and causing it to be rough :(. It contains 1% Lactic Acid beads which is suppose to be good for the skin. I can feel the sand like particles from the scrub and it's not that rough to hurt my face. After washing off, I feel my face to be really squeaky clean, no more oily feeling! Love this!

My Reviews
This is a light-weight moiturizer. It helps acne prone and dehydrated skin to replenish the needed moisture in the skin. It unclogs pores and leaves your skin feeling matt and fresh. It helps to control breakout and is not too strong for sensitive skin. I guess my face is not that oily, as it make my face look really matt (no shine).

This set is suitable for acne prone and sensitive skin. My skin isn't that bad so i'm passing over the set to the BF to try out, I will update you if it does help him! :)

I got this together with another eyeshadow which i reviewed recently in my online purchase. Now this is available at Watsons store now. Another color which i like too! <3

I have a lot of blue eyeshadows but i couldn't resist this, i was attracted the the blue on the left when i first saw it. The color is pigmented and easy to apply on.

I used this to create a look for Monday (Monday blues). The lighter blue appears bright but not the matt darker blue. I did not wear my falsies today (how can i forget?!) :( You can see my short stubby lashes.

I used Canmake Gokubuto Mascara for my lashes and dolly wink eyeliner to line my eyes.

Nail Color Chinchilly from Essie for my nails :) my first gray nail polish and i really like it :)

Loreal HIP eyeshadow duo in Flamboyant

I got this HIP Bright Shadow Duo in Flamboyant from Drugstore as i really love the golden tone color. From the web, the gold tone is not that bright but when i receive, it is more yellow, brighter tone than from web.

The gold shimmery shade was pigmented, the color comes is easy to apply but not the purple matt tone. i have to layer a few layers before the purple will come out nicely.

u can see the light purple tone on the top finger.. Overall i like the pairing of these 2 colors and the gold color. If the purple color was more pigmented i guess i would love this much more.

Eyes
I used this to create an EOTD. I apply the purple on my eyelids and the gold shimmer on my lower eyelids. I used NYX in Geisha for highlight on my brow bone. I used Canmake Gokubuto Mascara for my upper and lower SHORT lashes. I add on falsies from Kiss Me (been sometime since i use this pair).

Face
I complete off with MAC Candelight MSF as my blusher and Candy doll highlighter as my face highlight.

Lips
I applied Vaseline as my lip base and use a lip concealer to lighten my lips. Next, i apply on Canmake Nudy Lip glow in 02 Strawberry whip for a light pink color.

I received news that Samantha Thavasa is finally opening a branch in Singapore! It will be in Ion, Orchard with all the branded stores i guess xD I got attracted to this brand when i read ViVi (Japan Mag) with the the PINK and cute designs. However, the prices are really high, Maybe it will be higher in SG. T.T

I make a lists of WANTS (but couldn't get) to make myself happy! :P They are so pretty but i can imagine lots of nags floating around me asking me to not get it. :(

I love the HK bag most, but i can expect it to be the most expensive of the batch. ^^"

Candy Doll Blusher Swatches

I did get some candy doll blushers from a pop of kawaii :) here are the swatches :)

The colors are stronger than in pictures therefore by using a little, it will come out nicely on cheeks.

I really love the hot pink color as it comes out nicely on my cheeks, not too strong and it can be used for more dramatic looks with the pigmented color.

The blusher is smaller than what i have expected (little upset) and packaging is cheap-looking. Other than these, i really love the blushers.

The orange blush is really orangey on me, and sometime, i feel my cheeks are dull when using orange. i'm still finding ways to work with it. any reccomendations?

I'm so excited to receive candydoll makeup as they cant be purchase in my area and it was so hard to find them. I got in this Ramune Pink color which is like a nude pink color lipstick

It is a really nice pink color which i think suits my skin tone easily. The texture is creamy but not too moisturizing as i can feel my dry lips after applying and it may look like its in patches if you have really dry lips or apply it without any lip balm.

It stays for around 2 -3 hrs and disappears by lunch time. It is a matt color, no shine, no gloss, so i recommend gloss on top of lipstick.

Overall its a very pretty lipstick only that it's hard to find.

Happy Halloween!

I know i'm bit late :P I was dead tired after my halloween assignment which lasted almost 6 hrs and more, more than what was fixed. but it was very fun! The people there are so awesome and i really had fun! :)

I did not have time to take more photos (wasted :( ) but it was a great experience for me, doing special effects which i like so much! :D

here are the photos i practiced with the BF the night before. the same, he was grumpy :P

I used some remaining paint on my face, no special effects on my face :P maybe i shall try it someday this week :)

I have something to do with cleopatra makeup tomorrow so i tried on myself yesterday after work. my eyes are so dry by that time (i think it was around 11pm) that i keep tearing :P

I must be having fun doing halloween stuffs and the BF is getting irritated at me. Oops!

Here is another one. It didn't as i planned, so i think i didn't do it very well too. :( I need to try harder tonight~ :)

I only use gelatin for this, not much painting involved...

Im still new in this and still trying out.

*took a huge step and look at gore pictures. I hated them so much that i don even want to see any pictures, any movies etc. that are gory*

[Halloween] Burnt Skin

I was playing around with Gelatin and have the bf lend me his skin :P

I got some materials recently and will be trying out some look :) This is my first time working with gelatin and i dont think these are good. Will be trying out again tonight :)

*decided to cut the pics off cos some may find it gross.

Items Used
- Gelatin
- Greasepaint
- Fake blood
- lots of tissues :P

Here is a simple guide i got from youtube :)

HOW TO:
Mix in microwavable bowl
1 packet gelatin, 2 tablespoons water, and 2 tablespoons glycerine.
Microwave about 10 seconds. no more.
Mix.
Once cooled down a little, apply with spoon or popsicle stick to face. Layer one, then add some cotton where you want the bulges to be. Then keep adding layers and cotton.
LET DRY. Then Apply oil make up over top. If you want your mixture to be colored, you would add red food die or whatever color into the mixture b4 you apply it.

Invisible Lashes & UD BOS3 : FOTD2

I'm trying my best to 'revive' my blog after so much laziness recently :)

I watched a link posted by giang from facebook and saw the trick on putting eyelashes on the waterline and it got me interested to try it out :) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXIV2VqtSpg&feature=youtube_gdata_player)

It took me twice/thrice the amount of time to apply falsies but it isn't too hard! :)

Items used
- Lashes, cut into pcs
- Tweezer
- Eyelash glue (i use dollywink)

i tried using a tweezer to put on my falsies instead as i have butterfingers when my fingers are near my eyes. The eyelashes indeed does look natural than when you put on top of real lashes.

*this is my first attempt, so not really well done.*

those darker lashes are my real ones, the longer ones are falsies. (i know there is a hole...)

I wasn't planning to get this but after i swatch it in the MAC shop, i just pop it inside my basket :) love the color! :)

I finally received all my MAC VV products and im currently loving all of them! :)

I got 4 lipglass, 3 lipsticks, 1 blusher and 2 beauty powders :) I look like a little girl with new toys! :D

I didn't get any eyeshadow as i tend to neglect my eyeshdaow very fast.. :)

Revlon Colorstay

My first bottle of Revlon Colorstay after hearing so many nice reviews. It's a foundation for combination/oily skin, suits my skin with the current weather :) I got it off drugstore.com instead of locally as revlon stuffs are quite expensive over here and not much sales on it :( I got my first bottle in 200 nude. Its actually hard to compare shades online and we have limited shades here, luckily 200 nude is okay for me.

ColorStay™ Makeup with SoftFlex™ provides lightweight comfort, so you feel like you’re not wearing makeup. Looks fresh for up to 16 hours.

it doesn't come with a pump, and it can be quite messy.

Shade: 200 Nude

Personal Review
Overall, i like this foundation other than my usual bb cream, its an cheaper alternative other than my MUFE HD foundation for everyday use. After using this, i found out that i do not have to blot so often, has nice oil control, and coverage is pretty good. I do not like how it doesn't have a pump for it. I have to pour on a palette and apply from there. on my first try, i poured too much and it was a waste. It has a weird smell on it, although it doesn't really bother me too much, i still feel it's quite strange.

Pros: Cheap, nice coverage, no need to blot too often
Cons: low SPF, no pumps, weird smell

I bought the revlon photoready too :) will review that later! :)
